One inch of high-loft fiber; tufted for a mattress-like look, tops 2 inches of furniture grade foam for support. Hair will not stick to the micro velvet fabric! This remarkable fabric actually repels pet hair, dirt and moisture. In fact, most of our customers simply vacuum or shake-off pet hair! Although all our fabrics are furniture weight, our strongest fabrics are the micro velvet. These fabrics are constructed with nylon making them 6 8 times stronger than cottons. They stand up best to repeated washing and wear and maintain their great look and feel for years. Best of all, the micro velvet get softer after every wash.
